Bill Donahue, professional feigner of outrage and president of the Catholic League, addressed what is no doubt the biggest problem facing the Catholic Church today:The Three Stooges movie. You can see the Farrelly brothers’ new film in theaters today and most likely on Netflix by the middle of next week. Bill’s main problem with the movie is that Kate Upton plays a hot Nun, while nuns are only supposed to be gross and sexless.
Bill Donahue took time away from trying to discredit sexual abuse victims to remind us how kind people used to be. “In the 1950s, Hollywood generally avoided crude fare and was respectful of religion. Today it specializes in crudity and trashes Christianity, especially Catholicism.” Ah, the fifties. . .Simpler times, when Fonzie could tell Ritchie Cunningham about how to date rape, and people had respect for one another.
Hey, we never saw that episode of Happy Days! Maybe Billy doesn’t remember the 1950’s as well as Google image search.
But who needs the Stooges when Bill Donahue can be this funny!
